Pam, P.J. Rankin Hults, has been creating folk paper cuttings since 1979. The process she utilizes has evolved over the years, however she has always maintained her Pennsylvania roots and heritage with her work.

Pam’s influence has numerous sources, but her art always has a personal touch and creative interpretation from historical frakturs and German art motifs.

Pam is a graduate of Kutztown State College in Art Education, and has been a teacher.

Pam’s husband, John, makes the frames for her paper cuttings, as well as small cabinets and boxes.

Pam and John have two children, Kasey and Ethan, and live in Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
